I've had no luck searching for Nook Hill. Cooke's other collections around this date are from S Essex

The A176 south of Billericay is now called Noak Hill (OS TQ679916), but OS First Series Sheet 1, 1805, shows a bridge there call Nook Bridge so perhaps that's the place.
