N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Collector and herbarium not known, does anyone have any ideas?

M J P (P is clearly distinct from T in this label) - M Perreau seems to be the current favourite; he was collectiong some 30 years earlier, and this label suggests the college still kept his collection distinct

To confound matters further, the 'HJT' of the initials looks spookily like 'MJP' (compare the H of Hirsutus and T of Teesdale). The date is 6 years after Sir Jethro Justinian Harris Teall's death
