N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

I have 3 questions about this one (one of the first I've done):
The year "187-" as listed is not accepted in the date field, nor is "187?". How should I enter it?
Are the fruits/flowers "mature flowers" or "seeds/fruits"?
Is "1310" the collector's number?
Thanks.

My sympathy, as everyone seems to get an unusual sheet first time!
Sadly the box only accepts 'actual' dates, and the remedies are either to put the entry in the '...' box alongside the date, or in the 'notes' box - some people put a date in 2 boxes, ie 'from' 1870 'to' 1879 but I think this is confusing.
Faced with a plnt that has both flowers and fruits, we are asked to enter the 'senior' state - ie fruits.
Only a few collectors number their sheets, and this one is the far more usual catalogue number, perhaps from the London Catalogue - and of no value for our purposes.
As you've perhaps guessed, some sheets either lack basic information, or it can't be decided with certainty - eg the flowering state of some Atriplex specimens! So if in real doubt leave blank, or add a note or user comment in a box!
Will doubtless soon all make sense.
