N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

form displays with a request to check/confirm the default taxon name ('Dryopteris filix-mas var affinis')
this appears to be a later determination than Ley's/Nicholosons but the BIRM sheet actually displays Dryopteris filix-mas (L.) Schott

With the Birmingham sheets I've flagged up various sets of sheets for extra attention (previously the software didn't have this option).

I've marked sheets which don't appear to fit unambiguously into the currently accepted classification scheme. In this case the sheet was filed in a folder marked as felix-mas var affinis. Stace doesn't list this species, but does list Dryopteris affinis as a separate species. As I lack the expertise to determine which name should be used, the best solution seemed to be to mark such sheets as 'problematic'.

It would probably be good to generate a list of the problem sheets, so that they get extra attention.

The way you've documented this sheet is fine as hopefully if there is an identification problem then someone will make the necessary changes.

regards,
Tom.
