N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Info taken from typed label; other label suggests it is a cultivated specimen from Cornish seed?

Confusingly, the two labels refer to different specimens collected around the same time. The specimen could be Archer Briggs as you have edited; so I wouldn't wish that to be altered; but I believe that the specimen was grown at Balmuto, Fife (Boswell Syme's home) from seed from Torpoint, Cornwall. I believe Boswell Syme mounted this specimen to support his comments that his specimen, and the subject of the Report which must appear on a different sheet, are both of the hybrid. So I believe the specimen should strictly be edited as: Torpoint, no date, collected by Briggs; and additionally using the green + as: cultivated, Balmuto, from seed from Torpoint, collected 9/1879, collected by J T Boswell Syme.
