N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

'Type' in the taxonomic sense, i.e. the particular specimen used to define usage of a taxonomic name.

In practice, herbaria@home is unlikely to come across type specimens as there are obviously very few and often herbarium curators will already know about any in their collection and may have stored them separately.

One of the few we've cataloged is this Fumaria x painteri syntype.
