the last 6 specimens i've cataloged have failed tro save the location information i've specified.
the last one i re-selected and re-entered the information again separately from the list of specimens documented by me.
again it saved without any adverse message (don't think i got the small message box saying everything was ok however).
but still the location information has not saved.
currently using firefox 2.0.0.14

after again failing to save this morning , I have now been able to update the location details on all the six specimens.
I did see a confirmation box this time.

I'm sorry about this. A database change I made on Sunday caused problems, which were only corrected late on Monday - locations are now saving correctly.
Thank you for posting about this, I wish I'd spotted this earlier.
