N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

I haven't found any clues to Hole Dean. I have not come across William Borrer having a salicetum. He has only 2 Salix specimens in h@h currently. He lived 1781-1862. J Woods indicated by style of label.

This came round as 'partially completed'. There is a Holedean Farm 2km SE of Henfield where Woods was collecting at about this time. It is also only 1km E of the Barrow Hill home of Borrer who had a willow collection (salicetum) in his garden (see entry in Meiosis). Is this is Woods collecting in Borrer's extended garden? I have edited accordingly but I'm open to comment!
