N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Isn't this Primula veris x vulgaris (shape of leaves)?

I think you read it correctly. Your Milner Wood Junction is in Wharfedale just north of Menston at SE170448, now marked on map as 'Moss Brook'. I see Stringer also collected this year at Gordale Scar, north of Skipton, which is some distance off but the railway would lead in that direction. I wonder if this sheds any light on his site 'Elchel Wood' http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/340995/

This message is coinciding with discussion on http://herbariaunited.org/core/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8610
re Elchel Wood: 'I wonder if this is a mishearing/mistranscription of 'Hetchell Wood', OS SE377423, only about 2km from Scarcroft (VC64 Mid-west Yorkshire) where Stringer collected another specimen'. Stringer's other specimens from the county are from Scarcroft north of Leeds, and Brimham Rocks near Pateley Bridge (also 1839)

The 'Vision of Britain' on-line scan of the OS First Series map isn't very good but you can just make out Milner Wood on the hill north of Menston:
.

You can also see Milner Wood on Streetmap if you zoom right in to 1:2500.
