N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Having just started I could still do with some feedback. I have put the name of the person who collected the specimen but am not sure whether putting comm is correct or not.

Hi Passiflora,

'Comm' (communicated by) is mostly useful specimens that have been passed through several hands before reaching a herbarium - a common pattern would be that someones collects and sends a specimen to a local expert (who would be listed as 'com.') who forwards the specimen to a herbarium or exchange club.

I think you've documented the sheet as I would, but I'd probably add add in the notes field:

"Attached correspondence dated Nov 1930 between Riddelsdell and Fraser."

(ideally the pages of the letter would have been photographed separately - but that's at the discretion of the person doing the digitization)

regards,

Tom
