Edit history
N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

- The label appears to say "Phynon Velen [perhaps Ffynnon Felin (? in Cwm Glas Mawr), Welsh for Yellow Spring] the higher of two small lakes occupying the bottom of Cwm Glas in the Snowdon group, 19 August 1862 (Babington and John Roberts!)", but in French as would be expected of Jacques Étienne Gay, except that he died in 1844. According to the letters of CC Babington, John Roberts was his guide to Cwm Glas in the 1860s. But why the label in French? Was Hooker incorrect to attribute the specimen to the herbarium of Gay, and does his label obscure important details?
