I read this as Bonnevalle....?? There's a Bonneval in Auvergne, France, but I can only find other names even more dissimilar. The handwriting seems to be the same as that accompanying at bottom left, which I take to be Sir William Jackson Hooker's? Compare http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/344103/ which I guess might have been collected by him, or might not. NB is it possible to access a handwriting sample for him. Also, have we decided which of the Hookers created 'Herb Hookerianum'?
