N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Looks like Hunters Bog but could be Bay. Collector?

I found another specimen from Hunters Bog - http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/390033/?image
though I seem to think there are others too, complete with message board info locating it in Holyrood Park Midlothian. There's also one edited from 'Hunters Bay' I think erroneously -

Neither of these, nor 2 other Holyrood Park specimens, is near in date to yours

I think you are right - it's Bog not Bay.

Midlothian Vice-county 83 Scarce, Rare & Extinct Vascular Plant Register [pdf] (Barbara Sumner 2014) records several plants from Hunter's Bog, which it describes as being in 'Holyrood Park, Arthur’s Seat SSSI', the earliest of which dates from 1792, with grid references within NT2773. Zoom in on map below or clearer on 1:25000 in Streetmap.

OS Grid reference NT2773
