There's a Littlegreen School at SU775155 E of Horndean; however as with Green's sheet from 'Hurst Mill, Sussex' same year, Little Green could be almost anywhere

Littlegreen School is not far south of Hurst Watermill South Harting, SU765210, see Smith's specimen same year from 'Hurst Mill, Sussex'

On the OS 1st series this place clearly shown as 'Little Green', two words, so I think you are correct!
