Perhaps location here 'WPBS' is 'Welsh Plant Breeding Station'. Is (?) ARB a collector or another institution? The details in 'notes' suggest cultivated.

Yes this sheet is uniform with other cultivated specimens and crosses from WPBStation, generally anonymous, some marked ARB which I haven't elucidated. Caepella I think translates as Further Field.

Thanks. Another sheet today (375008) identifies ARB as Arthur Rhys Beddows (Head of Department of Grass Breeding). I wonder if we can ever do justice in transcribing the detailed data present in some of these WPBS labels. I have at least learned that the male sign ♂ is [alt] 11, and female ♀ [alt] 12!
