Locality:Great Britain, VC10 Isle of Wight, Whitecroft, SZ4986, Lane between Marvel Woods and Whitecroft, in some plenty on the hedge banks.

Lamium purpureum var. incisum herbarium specimen from Whitecroft, VC10 Isle of Wight in 1845.
fruits/flowers:seeds/fruits
notes:The leaves are somewhat greener or less hoary and hirsute, and less wrinkled than in L. purpureum, and the ring of hairs in the tube of the corolla is nearly or quite wanting. [see THE PHYTOLOGIST FOR 1849 p665] [includes packet marked 'L. intermedium seeds from the specimen on the sheet]
