N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Is Hedgebank a place-name? Refers to Ayers End Lane in Wheathampstead, Hertfordshire?

This is Edward James Salisbury aged 14, probably on his bike, from Limbrick Hall, Harpenden Common, where he lived. Ayers End is <2km away at TL146127. There is still a public path called Mud Lane but EJS generally referred to this by name, so my guess is the old footpath to the south through Eight Acre Wood shown on older OS maps, and I would suggest Hedgebank means just a bank!
