N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

'T' = Dawson Turner? Any suggestions for 'Cufton Kent' or similar? Turner collected in 1806 from Dover. Not sure what July 35 refers to as opposed to 1806.

Near Cuxton (TQ76) is a wood called Merrals Shaw ("shaw" is an archaic word for a wood).

I have seen the letter 'x' represented phonetically by 's' (e.g. in Baker's 'Yorkshire'). I think the "f" in 'Cufton' is a long 's' - hence Custon, or Cuxton.
