N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

I've received an email enquiry about this specimen, so wanted wider opinions about whether the locality is correctly transcribed (Roxburghshire) - I think it probably is correct, but it's hard to be sure given the vagaries of Baker's handwriting.

I think it is Ross-shire. Assuming the plants are Pinguicula alpina, this would tally, since P. alpina became extinct in 1919 and was only known from a single site in East Ross. See the BSBI Atlas, p. 581; also Peter Marren's book, Britain's Rare Flowers, p. 185.
