N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Perhaps a variant of Old Sarum.

I've tried to find a handwriting match in Bromfield Herbarium and with other pre-1850 collectors - but no luck yet. The extensive Latin diagnosis distinguishes this from all other Mentha specimens on heho.

I am persuaded by C. Liffen's suggestion, having drawn my attention to specimens at K, that the collector is Sole.
