No; C. menthifolium is known as a wild native only from Apesdown. IoW. Note the collector himself has named it C. officinalis.

A while back I posted a message concerning Calamintha/Clinopodium nomenclature pointing out that there was a time when the specific epithet 'menthifolia' was incorrectly used to denote C. ascendens.

There are nearly 600 spmns of Clinopodium on H@H of which 2 dozen have been named only to generic level.
