N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names. Log-in to edit this sheet.

As this is 'Cult. Leonard G. Adams' I would assume he was the collector too, though he is difficult to trace. There is a record of a Leonard Adams starting at the Parochial School, Sandford Orcas, near Sherborne, Dorset, in 1900 (so he would be in his 70s by 1966). House price web sites seem to place Agincourt at DT9 4RP, OS ST626202, Higher Sandford, just south of Sandford Orcas. I cannot trace Agincourt Orcas on any map. |

Another point: although Adams would have been right in putting Higher Sandford/"Agincourt Orcas" in Dorset in 1966, up until 1896 it was in Somerset, and is for recording purposes in VC5, South Somerset. |
