N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

I think you're right. Holland appears to be numbering tetrads 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, by eastings then northings, so T68 is equivalent to DINTY 'U', and TL20/T68 = TL20U.

This works with sheet 366504 which has both 6-digit OS reference and Holland's tetrad system.

In 1973 (London Naturalist 52, 29-30) Margaret Elizabeth Kennedy and Peter Charles Holland (both long-standing and active members of the LNHS) reported first results from the 'Plant Mapping Scheme' based on tetrads using the '0, 2, 4, 6, 8' system published by LNHS in 1965. There is a more recent MAP showing the coverage of the system, a circular area radius 32km centred on St Paul's, which extends into VC20, Hertfordshire, as well as into other Home Counties.
