N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names. Log-in to edit this sheet.

- Jean Byatt in an article about a Plant Recording Scheme for the year 1978 (Proc. Croydon Natural History & Scientific Soc. XVI (8) 1980 273-279) names Ray Clarke as one of her main collaborators. In lists of records he appears as initials RC. From the Proceedings I believe RC here = Ray[mond] Clarke = RAR Clarke.
The 'Lady Burnett' mentioned is most likely Lady Geraldine Elizabeth Mortimer Burnett (1925-?) the wife of Sir David Humphery Burnett, MBE, TD, FLS, of Tandridge Hall, near Oxted, Surrey. He was Chairman of South London Botanical Institute, 1976-81 (President 1985). 35C1 = tetrad TQ35K but in the Byatt/Lousley system.
