N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Rann is apparently a place in Lancs, I found this photo but nothing to indicate where!http://www.lancashire.gov.uk/environment/photographs/parishes/tz/images/yateandpickup/YPUB19.JPG

It appears to be the north end of Belthorn, OS SD7124. Name shows on 1:25,000 map but not 1:50,000.

Well spotted. South of Blackburn. Curious; far into Lancs not Cheshire; 'Head' sounds maritime to me; the photo seemed to show an estuary

Looking again at your documentation, I think Raw Head, OS SJ508548, high point of Bickerton Hill, and in VC58, Cheshire.
