The wording 'near gate' etc suggests cultivation in a salicetum. Linton's was at Bournemouth - not sure whether his writing. Both labels seem to be inscribed 'one cinerea from Rothbury' (in Northumberland; where there are famous gardens) or similar? Leefe has 6 willow specimens from Rothbury in h@h currently.
