N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Collector? handwriting not recognised. As with http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/283310/ of Ophrys insectifera, 'Bidford?' (Warks) confusingly has been added in pencil. Neither location fits with any other West sheets around this time.

I've found 3 other sheets with this handwriting, from Bradford-on-Avon, also marked 'Bidford?' in pencil. They are labelled from Mr & Mrs Welch eg http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/278101/ There don't seem to be any other Welch specimens, but this could be a clue to other West sheets with similar rounded handwriting and lacking collector name eg of the Birm Nat Hist & Phil Soc
