Lecturer in Botany at Westminster Medical School, Curator of Museum at Pharmaceutical Society. Specialised in lichens and marine algae.
Published in J Pharm, J of Botany, J Linn.
also published Holmes's botanical notebook or a practical guide to a knowledge of botany.
