It doesn't match vulpina well on bracts, Lf sheath and ligule characters but this deserves further investigation; microscopic examination of the adaxial epidermal cells of the utricle and distribution of bullate cells in Lf cross-section. King's Quay has much suitable habitat. I have been hoping this specimen would be found having heard of the record and searched the area for C.vulpina without success. A, convincing by macro-characters, immature plant was beside Wootton Creek SZ5590 in c.'02 but a later visit for sampling found the area had been cut. That possible site is about 4km south and east of King's Quay with v similar habitats.
