Belton, south-west of Yarmouth - Belton Fen is north of the village at OS TG4803.

Newbould was a botanising companion of CC Babington. Babington's Journal tells us that they were at Belton Fen on 8th June, not 6th August, 1847. So it looks as though Newbould as well as Babington had the habit of recording dates as month/day!
