N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

The location Marshall provides for this sedge: 'By the Eden, below Chiddingstone', suggests it was the part of the river that lies downstream of Chiddingstone village. This species is still present on the River Eden floodplain downstream of Chiddingstone village, in monads TQ5045 and TQ5145. This is currently the western most site for the species within Vice County 16. Stephen Lemon
