N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

I couldn't locate 'Moreton on the Shipstone Gloucester'. Previously I have assumed 'Moreton' on a Townsend label was Moreton Morrell Warks, near to his other sites for Prunus; and there is a Shipston on Stour in Warks! None of the Moretons I looked at in Warks or Glos were on a River Shipstone or similar

"Moreton, Glos" must be Moreton in the Marsh.

"on the Shipston ......." - road? railway line?

Yes - Honington, Shipston on Stour and Moreton-in-the-Marsh are so close together that I'm taking the latter as definite, and your suggestion of a road etc seems very likely
