N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

This isn't the Henry Johnson of the pick-list, who was born in 1880, but an older collector. http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/391167/ from Thorne, 1883 is similarly labelled, and apparently ex herb Rev Hugh Davies 1739 - 1821; but confusingly the oldest Botanical Record Club specimen I've found was collected 1862

No, the Henry Johnson of the pick-list flourished (not "was born") in 1880.

He is probably Henry H Johnson of Shrewsbury, physician and antiquary, who knew Charles Darwin at Edinburgh.

The Hugh Davies label is likely one of those curatorial consequences of mounting on one sheet several specimens of different provenance.
