Database did not accept grid reference in format and I'm afraid I don't know enough about grid references to amend this.

No problem!

I took a look at other sheets collected by Eifion R Morgan in Carmarthenshire and all these had a grid reference starting in SN, so this is likely to be the case here. It is common for collectors to omit the first two letters if their map happens to only have one set of letters across the whole map.
