Label for 2nd row specimens has 'Z. Notii Hornem. Fl. dan. t. 2041. Aus dem Baltischen Meere. Prof. NOLTE !'. Database has taxon Zostera noltei. Although I have entered 'Germany', in view of the publication 'Fl. dan.' (Flora Danica, of which Hornemann was editor 1806-1840) it could equally well be Denmark. I am unsure as to what part (Ernst Ferdinand) Nolte played in the collection of this specimen.
