- The date of the third specimen, 18th May 1852, is significant in that it was the first excursion of the Woolhope Naturalists' Field Club. The limestone reference may be to 'Aymestree Limestone' the bedrock of Tower Hill (Aymestree - an old form of Aymestrey).
