A number of labels associated with Painter have the name Aspland associated with them

It seems possible that this might be Mrs T L Aspland - who is referenced in Salmon's Flora of Surrey and the Holmesdale Natural History club


D Price informs me that she is the (2nd) wife of "Theophilus Lindsey Aspland (1808-1890) http://aspland.search4ancestors.net/index.htm?ssmain=g1/p1276.htm; , an artist, illustrator of Miss Martineau and editor of Wm Wordsworth".
