The handwriting I believe is F Townsend's (strangely, his page has no examples). His 'Castle Howard' sheets seem to be all Yorkshire, generally in association with Henry Ibbotson, who lived there. For comparison: http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/316386/?image

I agree that this is Townsend's own handwriting.

I think the vc 62 spmns are most likely collected by Henry Ibbotson but, unusually, relabelled by Townsend.
