For the date 8/8/1833 there are three sheets in the database from Foinaven.

The label appears to state "Herb. Graham".

Born 7th dec, 1786. Educated Stirling Grammar then Edinburgh University and St. Barts.

Set up practice in Glasgow. Appointed physician Glasgow Royal Infirmary, 1812.

Married Elixabeth Belsches - 13 children.

He lectured on Botany, and in 1818 a Chair of Botany was established at Glasgow University and he was the first Professor of Botany there.

He then transferred to Edinburgh as Regis Professor of Botany (and lecturer in Clinical medicine). in 1836, he was the first President of the Botanical Society of Edinburgh.

He died, after a long illness at Coldoch, Perthshire on 7th August, 1845.
