I took these initials as J Whitehead's, based on 3 'sister' sheets eg
http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/390748/?image The county on all these sheets isn't stated-Aberdeenshire or mid-Perthshire? - but in each case has been entered as the former - which is the source of most h@h specimens of the plant

I think Loch na Gar, Perthshire, in the pick-list stems from an early h@h sheet, 358001, documented from a difficult label as: 'Stuich an lochan. Rocky ledge above Loch Na Gar, Perth'. Perhaps the most likely location for this is 'Stuc an Lochan above Lochan nan Cat' NN4844 VC88, Mid-Perthshire.

Lochnagar, the corrie loch and the eponymous ridge above are in VC92 South Aberdeenshire at NO2585, the highest point, Cac Carn Beag (1155m), being about 1km west.

Aha - makes sense! I see that collector was Gardiner, whose other specimens that summer were nearly all from Perthshire, with some from Angus & Kincards.
