Unlikely perhaps, but could this be the same person as Isaac Brown, who has h@h specimens from Herts, W Suffolk, Beds & Dumfriesshire? The sheets more similar to this one have been credited to a J W Brown, but is the initial more like an I or a J ?

Thankyou for that info. I see your man's specimens in h@h have ended up as collected variously by J W Brown, J.W Brown, and John Wright Brown. All fall in the right date range
