N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

whom should we name as collector in view of the uncertainty?

I'd be happy with Leighton. I think this is just due to uncertainty by whoever remounted the sheet. It's a pity the original label's been lost. (in many cases the orig. label was stuck to the back of the sheet - in which case I've photographed it and pasted the label image into the main specimen image).

regards,

Tom
