I agree - with the spelling Moncton.

It is mapped as Monkton Combe, and comes up in the pick-list. OS ST7762:

The label suggests that the collector was R C Alexander (later surnamed Prior).

Many thanks to all of you for your very helpful comments - I have updated the location to be Monkton Combe (from the pick list) and modified the comment about the location.

David, I assume that your suggestion of R C Alexander (later surnamed Prior) is based on a combination of handwriting similarities, date and area of collection. Please go ahead and fill in the herbarium sheet's collector field if you are sufficiently confident - I have only transcribed a small handful of labels so far and am not experienced enough to make that judgement.
