N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

ScontlansPlaces says of Loch Clunie: "This name applies to a Loch situated at the western extremity of Glen Moriston".

This suggests what is mapped as Loch Cluanie with its eastern half in VC96 East Inverness-shire, the remainder being in VC105 West Ross & Cromarty. The eastern end is at NH1809.

OS Grid reference NH1809

Thanks! the various searches I did before were somehow fruitless - and I now find the site on the h@h picklist - but with an incorrect map ref quite distant, NH4716, does anyone else find this mystifying?

There are two lochs called Loch Cluanie in VC92. I have edited locations so that the pick list should now have:

VC96 East Inverness-shire Loch Cluanie NH475163
VC96 East Inverness-shire Loch Cluanie, East end NH1809
VC105 West Ross & Cromarty Loch Cluanie NH1010

At the west end of this loch in VC105 there is also Cluanie Bridge Inn NH0711.
