Twyford Vownog often referred to in Leighton's Flora; a bog near Westfelton.

Vownog from welsh 'mawnog' - a turbary or peatbog.

Given the handwriting, does not Townsend also seem the likely collector for the Twyford Vownog specimen; and J Woods for the Deal specimen, given the date and handwriting. Townsend was born in 1822, Woods in 1776
