The 22/8/1890 specimen on this sheet bears the initials 'S.P.T. & R.F.P.T.', presumably Silvanus Phillips Thompson (later professor; son of Silvanus Thompson) and his sister Rachel Ford (Phillips) Thompson. Also 'R.F. and F.P. Thompson' herbarium that of Rachel and her younger sister Frances Phillips Thompson.
