Originally assigned to the Farnborough in VC12 but Mennell lived in Croydon (at least 1871-1911) which is only 6 miles from the Farnborough in VC16, c. TQ4464. The specimen needs expert determination. It could be either V. parviflora or V. tenuifolia.
