Specimen #230263
Taxon: | Cyperaceae: Carex digitata L. ("Fingered Sedge") named by pilaira 4/12/2006this specimen was presented as Carex pallescens - which it most definitely is not; it resembles a stunted form of Carex digitata (hence the tentative ID), but this would represent an extension of its known range, plus the image quality is not of a sufficient resolution to make a determination of such a critical genus - the specimen needs to be examined by a Carex specialist

Edit history
N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.
