N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

On the sheet, after "JB Phipps", it looks like it says "1702". Do you know what this is? Also, I can't tell if "Felled Wood" is an actual place name.

Phipps is better known on H@H for his det slips on BIRM specimens; he has worked in southern Africa and north America and specialises in Maloideae; he is elderly but not known to have died; the year of collection of this plant is 1953.

1702 is probably his reference number.

I think "Felled Wood" is 'felled wood'.
