N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Ley gives Cwm Rhaidr Valley, but I can only find Cwm Rhaeadr Valley so have assumed Leys me stake!

Cwm Rhaeadr is bisected by the VC line between Denbighs (VC50) and Montgomeryshire (VC47) but NOT Merioneth.
"Cwm" means "valley". so the latter word is redundant.

There are various collections by Ley from the same locality on 21/8/1885, which have been interpreted as Cwm Rhaidr, VC46; Cwm Rhaeadr, VC47 and 48 and Coed Rheidol, VC46.

Hi, Tom,
Thanks for making me look at all specimens for a date. It's the first time I have used this useful tool.
The clue is in the specimen which has "near Glandyfi" on the slip. Glandyfi is at the mouth of the Llyfnant which starts at Cwmrhaiadr! He would hardly have gone to more than one such good and relatively remote location (and Cors Fochno) in a day, so I have edited all those sheets - OK?
